The Austin History Center Association (AHCA), an organization with a 47-year history of preserving Austin’s past, is proud to celebrate its annual Anniversary Giving Campaign this October. The fundraising campaign marks a significant milestone: the 45th anniversary of the Association’s formal establishment as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on October 5, 1981.

“For 47 years, the AHCA has been dedicated to preserving and sharing Austin’s unique story,” said Adam Powell, AHCA Executive Director. “Our formalization as a nonprofit 45 years ago allowed us to build the foundation for our work today. Now, as the Austin History Center continues to serve the public, we are looking to our community to help continue the preservation of Austin’s history.”

The AHCA has set a goal of raising $30,000 during October. Funds will directly support the preservation of archives, community programming, and expanding access to historical resources.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a direct impact in helping us meet this goal. Will you join us by making a gift today?
