Fuller Circle

Named for Stephen Fuller Austin, Fuller Circle is a series highlighting Texas authors, artists and storytellers.

An evening with Texas storytellers

Each Fuller Circle is a ticketed luncheon or happy hour at a special Austin venue. Bring someone new to share in the event, learn about the importance of AHCA and enjoy an intimate presentation.

These events provide an intimate setting to explore Texas history, culture and overlooked stories over fine dining. Past speakers have included Margaret Justus, who led the Ann Richards Legacy Project; historian Ken Roberts, author of The Cedar Choppers; and Jesse Sublett, who chronicled Austin’s underworld in Austin Gangsters.

In February 2025 author Patricia Bernstein joined us at the Headliners Club to discuss Ten Dollars to Hate: The Texas Man Who Fought the Klan, her book about Dan Moody, the Texas district attorney who in 1923 became the first prosecutor to convict and jail Ku Klux Klan members.
