This Giving Tuesday, your support can help preserve Austin’s rich and diverse history. With a $25,000 matching gift challenge from the McBee Family Foundation, every dollar you give through Dec. 31st will be doubled, unlocking $50,000 to protect and share our city’s stories.

This year, we entered a transformative agreement with the City of Austin, enabling AHCA to raise and allocate funds directly for the Austin History Center Campus. This partnership amplifies resources beyond the city budget, empowering us to expand preservation projects and community programs through a powerful public-private collaboration.

We’re excited to launch our redesigned website, which will evolve throughout the holiday season with new features like the return of Fuller Circle in February, a collection of Oral Histories, and highlights from past events, which have shaped our organization’s history.

YOUR GIFT WILL
  • Preserve historical archives that capture Austin’s diverse narratives.
  • Fund educational programs and events that connect our community to its heritage.
  • Inspire future generations by keeping Austin’s legacy alive.

By donating today, you honor the vision of our founder, Sue McBee, and ensure that AHCA continues to fulfill its mission. Your generosity has been instrumental in our achievements, and we are deeply grateful for your ongoing support.

Thank you for your commitment to Austin’s History. We hope you’ll give and spread the word about our double-match opportunity for Giving Tuesday!
