The Austin History Center Association (AHCA) is thrilled to announce that on May 5, 2024, we received a $25,000 grant from the Still Water Foundation to support the development of our Vision Plan. This substantial grant will significantly enhance our capacity to plan for the future preservation and promotion of Austin’s historical narratives.
The Still Water Foundation, based in Austin, Texas, is dedicated to supporting the arts, education, the environment, and social services. They focus on projects that enrich the cultural landscape and improve the quality of life in Texas communities.
The Vision Plan funded by this grant will allow AHCA to strategically assess our current programs and resources, identify opportunities for growth, and set actionable goals for the future. This comprehensive planning process is essential for ensuring that we continue to effectively serve the community and preserve Austin’s diverse history.
