The Austin History Center Association (AHCA) is pleased to announce that on April 10, 2024, we were awarded a $5,000 grant from the National Trust for Historic Preservation to support the creation of our Vision Plan. This funding will assist AHCA in developing strategic initiatives to preserve and promote Austin’s historical legacy.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation is a privately funded nonprofit organization that works to save America’s historic places. Through their grant programs, they provide financial assistance to organizations dedicated to preserving diverse historic sites across the country.
With the support of this grant, AHCA will formulate a Vision Plan that outlines our goals for safeguarding Austin’s historical resources, enhancing educational programs, and fostering community involvement. This plan will serve as a blueprint for our future endeavors, ensuring that the rich tapestry of Austin’s history is preserved for generations to come.
