From 6 p.m. on March 6 to 6 p.m. on March 7, 2024, the Austin History Center Association (AHCA) participated in Amplify Austin—and thanks to the generosity of our supporters, it was a tremendous success!
Together, we raised $2,600, helping AHCA continue its mission to preserve and share Austin’s history. Amplify Austin, organized by I Live Here I Give Here, is the city’s largest 24-hour giving event, and we were proud to be part of a movement that strengthens nonprofits across Central Texas.
What This Means for AHCA
These funds will directly support AHCA’s operational costs, ensuring we can continue our advocacy for Austin’s history and maintain the resources necessary to preserve and share it. This support helps us sustain our work with the City of Austin as we pursue an expanded history campus, providing a space where the community can engage with the city’s past through research, programming, and exhibitions.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The momentum from this year’s campaign sets the stage for an even bigger impact next year. Mark your calendars—Amplify Austin 2025 will take place from March 5-6—and we look forward to making it another incredible day for Austin’s history.
